I am home tonight. *YAWN* I am watching some YouTube videos, searching for fic and otherwise doing SHIT. I am still sick (hiss!boo!) so an easy evening in. NO CLEANING. I ended up cleaning bathroom and clearing out basement room yesterday and hauling boxes 'round. *rolls eyes*

PSYCH 4.5 premieres tonight! finally! Though I clearly have no life bc I liked USA'S Friday night lineup. I *heart* Tim Omundson as Lassiter. :D Poor James Roday and the whole "needing his appendix out." Bad timing but glad he's OK.

Well, yes I have way back when...but for some odd reason I want to watch that and Point Break now. *whistles nonchalantly*

My process of reading fic in a new fandom. 1. get recs. 2. read all fandom fic by authors (I like of rec'd fic and/or that I come across) 3. troll preferred comm and sort through fic, weeding out bad writing/other!pairings, finding out 'preferred writers' and all that & repeat 2. This is the most painful process when all I want to to is mainline (good) fic. And sadly, where I am right now. :( WANT.

So last night I started to watch Simon Pegg and Nick Frost-related YouTube vids as I was uploading goodies. Went through random videos before watching some fuzzcasts (Nick rocks those glasses<3) and a dozen Hot Fuzz video blogs...and then had to go to SLEEP. Many more to watch. But Simon/Nick=adorable. And so geeky. Especially Simon. What is it with me and geeky!hot adorable men?

I love there are many "new" things of theirs to watch (and I will!)...but I just adore Nicholas/Danny characters. <3

let it be on record that I LOVE HOT FUZZ. I really had no clue what you all were going on about *pointed look at storyfan* or why people in my different fandoms kept mentioning it. I didn't even really know what it was, truth be told. LOL.

My ipod has been loaded with the ipod version of the movie from anglstrmoon (THANKS AGAIN) so I keep watching it/have it on the the background.

In what little time I have been awake/free this past week, I've been reading fic. Started with crack_van recs and yuletide goodies, and now am meandering from one place to another. If anyone knows of good rec lists around, PLEASE SHARE. :D (yes, this is a shameless plea for fic. In case you were confused)

Oh, and Simon Pegg=love. the little x-phile at heart. Be sure to follow simonpegg, nickjfrost and edgarwright on twitter! I'm probably the last one here to do so. :D

MERRY CHRISTMAS! Hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas! If you don't celebrate, well, Happy Friday!

Christmas Eve is bigger than Christmas Day for my family. We had baby from early; super WTF early!arrivals; typical family goings-on and drama; etc. So all in all, good Eve.

Today was just us and very quiet. I stayed in PJs all day. My PLAN was to watch Christmas QI (STEPHEN FRY + DAVID TENNANT = ME DED), Catherine Tate special, and all related things. What actually happened was that I was feeling sick (allergies?) and had to take pills/nap. So I still haven't watched End of Time Part 1 yet! I am avoiding flist/twitter as much as possible.

HELP. Anyone have better google-fu powers OR stores than I do? I need to find the LENOX ANNUAL ANGEL ORNAMENT FOR 2004.

Trying to help a friend find one for her nephew. He broke his, and it was in memory of his g'mother. And apparently friend mentioned it to him thinking I found it or something (bc i was asking what it looked like-they make a damn lot of angels. random ones were found online).

OR EVEN similar item. from 2004 preferred.

Mine's vodka. And big fruity drinks bc i'm a big fruit. Or something. ;) Vodka doesn't really bother my stomach (besides obvious). SRSLY. bc when you're drinking, especially in excess, you should be worried about your stomach.

Wine? I prefer whites rather than reds. Too much red makes me stuffy and sometimes itchy. Beer TOTALLY makes me stuffy, which is why I usually don't drink it and go for vodka. I think it may be the yeast or something.

I met stephen fry. who was lovely and sweet and totally ignored my spaz-tastic giddy self. I picked up angstlrmoon's book, brought it up with me, and regained meaningful speech enough to stop stephen from signing my name in place hers. whoops.
